• “I've had the pleasure of studying alongside Ms. Marine for the past four years at the Conservatory of Theatre Arts & Film of Purchase College, spending countless hours not only in the classroom and in the cinema, but on set as well. Sam applied her wonderful management skills to my Junior thesis (Man Alive, 2008) in the role of assistant director, managing a production which required traveling out of state to the woods of Western Massachusetts and balancing the schedules of a cast of non-actors. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with job. Her casting choices for her Junior thesis (Tom Rourke is a Vegetarian, 2008) greatly influenced my own during the pre-production of my Senior work (Invert the Vessel, 2009), inspiring me to explore commercial casting services as well as our ensemble of Purchase actors.
