PRODUCTION
TOM
ROURKE IS A VEGETARIAN was my junior thesis film, funded by the
Demar Family Foundation. The film was shot on the SUNY Purchase
campus and in my family's home in Poughkeepsie with the Panasonic
DVX. Being a satirical romantic comedy, I let the actors improvise
much of the dialogue in the larger group scenes. It was completed
in May 2008 at the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory. Its progress
was supervised by Iris
Cahn and Robert
J. Siegel.
