BLOAF is a punk band consisting of me on drums and my husband Mike on guitar/vocals. “GONER” is the single off of our first EP, Sounds Bad Man, which you can listen to on Spotify.
For the video, the first-person shooting style was an homage to PEEP SHOW, one of our all-time favorite comedies. I also got to live out my childhood fantasy of getting slimed Nickelodeon-style. When we were shooting the band footage of us playing on the roof of our apartment building, a stranger across the way opened his window and started yelling at us. I thought he was angry about the noise, but he was actually asking us the name of our band, saying he loved the track.
